

SCENARIO COSTA (MAANET-BARCELONA) TO TRAIN DIRECTOR 

This is my second work for train director and the second part of the first scenario "stvi"


This scenario includes the two lines connecting Barcelona with Maanet. 

Currently, they are included in the network near Barcelona, C1 line As the coastline or Matar and the line C2 north, line the inside 

or Granollers. 

Currently (2010) only by freight trains traveling the Granollers line, because the origin of this traffics is in this branch (La Llagosta and Papiol) 

The Regional trains and long trains running, always circulate through the Granollers line, but the intensity and quantity of trains whith the single track in the 

Matar branch, its very difficult to implement in this line.

The Maanet-Barcelona line, is the north branch of the "cercanias Barcelona" well-known by "the eight catalan" 



PARTICULARS OF THE STAGE. 


For various reasons, including security, this scenario is not real to 100%. Connoisseurs will see some weaknesses in some seasons. 

The large number of trains included in the simulation, (approx 650 circulations) make this a little "stressful" but entertaining. 

We recommend using a simulation speed of 2 or 5 depending on the hours. 

The stage is semi-automatic, ie with automatic locking between stations. By contrast, some times entrances, exits and maneuvering 

in them, have to do manually. As you can see, there are buttons programmed itineraries on each station to facilitate the task. 

To make direct steps PLS use the buttons at the top of each station. 

In this scenario, I put lots of triggers for the simplify the simulation. Please, before start the real simulation, see and testing the scenario for a few minutes. 


The trains are not assigned staging walk except in some cases (end station or cross). This was done so because as in reality, 

if you want to make a cross or a pass to another train, can be done without problems. 
 


FREIGHT:


In this scenario, only three stations generate freight traffics: 


La Llagosta: Generate and receive freight trains, because your proximity to Barcelona

Papiol: The freight branch arriving from the south.

Butano: Between Granollers and Montmel. 

The trains arriving from Papiol and destination La Llagosta or vice versa, they must make the manoeuvre of reverse at Granollers.
